Let’s start with the best locations where a wildlife photographer can get the maximum inspiration. For the photography enthusiast this reserve is a must visit place for you. Located at the South west side of Kenya, Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the greatest wildlife reserves here. I am sure you have definitely heard about the Wild Beast Migration or the Great Migration which takes places here. And if not then guys you should add this place on your bucket list. Photographers visit this place every year to take some of their best shots and believe me guys you will absolutely find that perfect shot here. You will also find some other wildlife here like Masai lions, African leopards and Tanzanian cheetahs and Thomson’s gazelle.
India: The diverse habitats of Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh, composed of grasslands, forests and bamboo bush, are home to around 100 of India’s tigers. You’ll spend most of your time out on safari, so the holidays can be pretty full on. Naturalist guides here have led internationally renowned photographers, so you’re in good company. Kanha can be easily combined with Keoladeo National Park for bird watching, too.
On the 13th of July 2019, me and my partner (who is a wildlife photographer and also a fellow Wildlife Conservation student) will be travelling to Kenya to work at the Mara Naboisho Conservancy, which borders the Maasai Mara National Reserve and is one of only a few areas in Africa remaining as a refuge for large mammals. We will be taking part in a project that’s aimed at monitoring and conserving big cats and other wildlife in the area by conducting and contributing to research of the endangered predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. This is research that will contribute to park and animal management plans and so is vital to providing long-term protection for all of the endangered species in the Maasai region. My fascination for the natural world started at a very early age, and my love of animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. During my senior years at Birkenhead High School for Girls (2006- 2013), I developed a deep passion for drawing and painting, and art became the central focus of my studies.
